Tasty Traditions

Do you have a regular food tradition? A Sunday roast with the family, a Friday night curry or fis]h and chips? At the Lockdown Sauce household I’d say pancakes on a Sunday morning, or a homemade burger on a Saturday night tickle our taste buds.

One thing I've been thinking a lot about recently is how lucky we are in the UK to be influenced so heavily in our food traditions by the seasons. How the above mentioned Sunday roast in Autumn and Winter turns into a BBQ come Spring and Summer and how we have such a wonderful food tradition around Christmas and the New Year, as two examples.

How wonderful it is, and how lucky we are, to able to rejoice in each season about the availability of a new vegetable, a different type of meat or fish or fresh fruit.
