As with all good things in life, experimentation, patience, some hard work and a little luck are key. The Lockdown Sauce Co was created through this process of gradual refinement, and this is continuing today.
I absolutely love my days spent in the kitchen, trying different chillis in different combinations, different heating techniques, varying amounts of salts and sugars and vinegars - great fun!
Today I did just that and you can find some images on our Instagram feed. I will also update some ‘after’ shots once bottled up!
Today was also the day the nation went back to school (which might explain how I found the time to tinker over the stove), and like them I found my appetite to continue learning is still burning brightly! Back to school for all of us, it seems.
